Head to The Artivist in Joburg to view Nataal’s current photography show

Nataal has partnered with The Artivist in Joburg for the exhibition ‘Image, Reflection, Abundance’. Our photography show at this bar cum creative space features a curation of images that have been exclusively shot or featured in Nataal magazine as a celebration of fresh perspectives on African creativity.

Featured artists include Adama Jalloh, Clare Shilland, Daniel Obasi, Harris Elliott, Ibrahim Hasan, Jamie Morgan, Julia Noni, Kristin-lee Moolman, Lorenzo Vitturi, Mous Lamrabat, Petrovsky & Ramone, Ronan Mckenzie, Rudi Geyser and Tyler Mitchell.

The show debuted as part of the Nataal X Haig Club Party (see our story on the event here), which was attended by David Beckham alongside the city’s most exciting artists and influencers.

Last week, the public were invited to view the show again as part of First Thursdays, the monthly evening of openings in cultural venues around the city, which takes in The Artivist alongside other nearby spots in Braamfontein such as Kalashnikovv Gallery, Wits Art Museum and 99 Juta. And the show stays on view until June.

So if you’re in the city, head down to The Artivist to check it out during its six-week run. A number of works are available as numbered editions.

Nataal: Image, Reflection, Abundance is on view until the end of July 2019 at The Artivist, 7 Reserve St, Braamfontein, Johannesburg
