Exclusive: Ivorian brand OLOOH reveals its latest collection with a siren song to the ocean
For his latest campaign, OLOOH founder and photographer Kader Diaby laments the vanishing coastlines of West Africa. “In a world where seashells no longer kiss the shore, and nets return not fish but fragments of our waste, OLOOH tells the silent tale of a fisherman adrift in a wounded sea,” the artist tells us.

Shot on the shores of his beloved Côte d'Ivoire, the story features key looks from the brand’s latest collection – each loosely tailored piece sustainably handmade in Abidjan – worn by our lone wayfarer as he makes a raw and sensual elegy to the encroaching ocean. “This editorial evokes the slow erosion of paradise, through textures of salt, skin, and sorrow,” Diaby adds. “We’re in a place where beauty and loss entwine beneath the unrelenting sun.”
