From issue two: South African photographer Alice Mann lenses sibling dance duo Tehillah and Corban
South African photographer Alice Mann captures ballroom dancers Tehillah and Corban Anthony, a dazzling brother-sister duo from Charlesville, Cape Town. The Taylor Wessing Prize winner has been taking portraits of the siblings ever since they started competing two years ago. “When they dance, it’s undeniable. Their chemistry, aspiration, and natural gift is unique. Together, they’re a forced to be reckoned with,” says Mann of the pair, who have won countless competitions. The outfits they wear for this story were designed by Tehillah, Corban, and their perennially supportive father, Desmond, and produced by stylist Mikhailia Petersen. Each piece adheres to the ballroom world’s exacting standards and will now form part of their performance wardrobe.
